The Go AI offered here is powered by a neural network that incorporates several strong and open source AI programs such as Leela Zero, ELF OpenGo, PhoenixGo, Minigo, SAI, and optionally KataGo.

This AI can serve as a formidable opponent for challenging gameplay and as an excellent study partner.

Thanks to the M2 processor in the iPad Pro, the playouts are executed at a remarkable rate of over 650 times per second with ELF OpenGo weight v1. Similarly, the A15 Bionic processor in the iPad mini allows for playouts exceeding 200 times per second! These impressive speeds rival those of desktop computers and surpass those of most notebook computers. Additionally, the M2 processor on the iPad Pro enables playouts at over 250 times per second with KataGo b18c384nbt! Notably, this AI package also includes other well-regarded weight options.

For reference, on the 9.7-inch model of the iPad Pro (using an A9X processor), you can expect a playout speed of about 10 times per second. The iPhone 6 (with an A8 processor) performs playouts at approximately 1 time per second. Despite these variations, it's worth mentioning that this AI remains stronger than most amateur players. However, please be aware that it may occasionally misinterpret ladder patterns. Take this into consideration before making a purchase.
